Meh...

I hear people whining about the fame title track plenty... They all say they want more emotes. They want to bog down the game further with more stupid animals they can flash up on screen and..... yeah...

... We should just get rid of the stupid animal that started the whole mess.

Here is my vote for the removal of the emote from the Fame title track. If PvPers want the Fame title then let them get it for its own sake.
It should also keep non-serious people out of HA and give the elitist arseholes at the top the "challenge" they want (i.e. less fighting against teams who are only fame-farming).

Basically... the Deer / Wolf / Tiger / etc thing doesn't really do anyone any good. People just get it for its own sake... spam it about the place... cause everyone else to bitch and whine because THEIR title tracks don't have emotes....
For the love of fvck would someone just get rid of the damned thing already?!

Personally, if they did this, I would not buy any anet products ever again. Even if GW2 was actually good. Just on principle.

I like the emote...and various other people must like the idea of an emote, and are even requesting emotes for PvE titles. I don't see anything wrong with showing off something you've earned.

I'm annoyed at all the people who ARE actually jealous whining their arses off because they don't have emotes for their title tracks.

As I expressed quite clearly before.... removing the one thing that started it would be much better off than throwing in emotes all over the place, and certainly better than the wholly biased system currently in place.
PvPers b!tch about parts of the game being unbalanced, and A-Net brutalises the game for PvE'ers... yet this is a game unbalance in favour OF the PvPers

Besides, people whine at every single nerf that goes through. Why the hell should I nor A-Net care about people whining if this happened? It wouldn't be any different. Nerf-whines are short-lived. Whining for balance persists eternal.

going by your logic, we should delete life because life resulted in humans, and humans cause wars. we don't want wars, therefore, we should delete all humans. going to the root of the problem should solve it, right?

Cry Moar, those PvP titles are significantly harder to get than most PvE titles. They deserve to flaunt their hard earned emote.

I agree and disagree with the OP.

I do think that no title should have an emote, it just leads down the line to 'must have Kind of a big deal (1)+ in order to join'.

However fame titles were in the game since pretty much the offset, and has only been turned into a title since they were introduced.

Personally i love the fact that people have gone crazy over a few words under their name, and i for one am most please with Arena-net because they must be laughing themselves silly for the ease of what they have created.

Anyway back to the point. No title should have an emote, but fame was here before titles. Thus there should be something diffrent for fame, maybe remove title and have something else... like '(Hero) Raiin Maker' in front of their name, instead of under it, you can't really remove the emotes, because they have been here forever, and removing something like that would be like removing a class.

Although I don't agree with the op (but I see his point), that doesn't give any reason for you people to act so ridiculous. "cry moar"? "pve nub"? Please. So many people on this board assume that just because someone has a problem with something pvp-related, that it's somehow due to their horrible skill as a pvp-er, and that they are just crying. (the mental image of someone sobbing while typing up a post always makes me laugh)
